This region is about Ninety miles long, forty miles wide, and Brookings Harbor is perched at the southern edge of it (only six miles north of the California border). This area has the warmest average temperatures on the Oregon coastline. Although weather in Brookings can sometimes be unpredictable, it can also be the warmest place the whole state during wintertime. - In December an amazing and beautiful Holiday Light Show takes place at Azalea Park
